We are looking for a motivated Material Handler to join our team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our warehouse. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transferring goods between different areas of the facility, and ensuring inventory is stored correctly. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to facilitate these movements. A strong commitment to Safety is essential, and you must adhere to all company policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety vests and steel-toed boots, is mandatory. This position often involves significant Lifting and requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. Accurate inventory tracking and maintaining an organized workspace are also key responsibilities. Experience with different types of forklifts and warehouse management systems is a significant advantage.
