We are looking for a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our operations in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is essential for managing inventory in our high-density racking systems. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving palletized goods within the warehouse, utilizing a reach truck. Your primary duties include retrieving products from storage locations, placing them in designated areas, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position demands precision, control, and a thorough understanding of warehouse Safety procedures. You must be adept at operating material handling equipment in tight spaces and at elevated heights. A commitment to upholding all company safety policies and regulations is crucial. Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected, including safety vests, hard hats, and appropriate footwear. Daily inspection of the reach truck is required to ensure optimal performance and report any issues promptly. This role often involves coordinating with other warehouse personnel to ensure a smooth workflow for inbound and outbound logistics. The ability to perform tasks involving occasional Lifting is also part of the job description, though the primary focus is on equipment operation. We seek individuals who are highly reliable, safety-conscious, and possess excellent operational skills. Prior experience operating a reach truck and a valid certification are highly preferred.
