We are hiring a Picker/Packer in Chicago, Illinois, to support our growing e-commerce operations. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. Attention to detail is critical to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction. Your daily tasks will include using pick lists or scanning devices to locate products, verifying item quantities, and ensuring products are free from damage before packing. You will also be responsible for selecting appropriate packaging materials, such as boxes, tape, and protective cushioning, to ensure items arrive safely at their destination. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is a top priority. This involves keeping your picking and packing stations tidy and following all warehouse safety procedures. Adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines is mandatory for your well-being. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets is key. While this role primarily involves picking and packing, occasional duties may include assisting with inventory counts or moving stock, which may involve some Lifting.
