- Prepare and process all shipping documentation accurately (bills of lading, manifests, etc.).
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers.
- Inspect outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and proper packaging.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as label printers and scanners.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and external partners.
- Support logistics team with administrative tasks as needed.
- This role requires occasional lifting of packages up to 30 lbs.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with computers and shipping software.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Familiarity with various shipping carriers is a plus.
