Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough cycle counts, managing stock adjustments, and resolving any discrepancies that arise. This role is critical to our operational efficiency, ensuring that we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a proactive approach to inventory management. You should be comfortable working within a busy warehouse environment and be able to collaborate effectively with various team members. A commitment to safety is non-negotiable, and all employees must adhere to our stringent safety policies and consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Execute daily cycle counts and periodic physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory variances.
- Maintain accurate inventory data in the WMS.
- Analyze inventory trends and provide insights for improvement.
- Implement best practices for inventory control and accuracy.
- Work with the operations team to optimize warehouse layout for inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar warehouse role.
- Familiarity with WMS and inventory management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
