You will play a crucial role in fulfilling customer orders by accurately picking items and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment, ensuring all necessary information is present.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring easy access to supplies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the job.
- Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy before packing.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as receiving or stocking.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Understanding of safe lifting practices is essential.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is a plus.
