Are you an experienced professional with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics hub in Houston, Texas. This role is critical in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, including cycle counting, discrepancy investigation, and implementing process improvements to reduce errors and enhance efficiency. Your duties will involve regular audits, data entry, and reporting on inventory levels and movements. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software is essential. You will work closely with warehouse operations, receiving, and shipping departments to ensure seamless material flow. Safety is paramount; you must be knowledgeable about safe material handling practices and ensure compliance with all company safety policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). While not primarily a physically demanding role, occasional lifting may be required. We seek a candidate who is highly organized, analytical, and proactive in identifying and resolving inventory-related issues.
