Join our dedicated team as a Material Handler in Denver, Colorado! We are looking for motivated individuals to manage the flow of materials within our busy warehouse. Your primary role will be to ensure that raw materials and finished goods are moved safely and efficiently to their designated locations. This position is crucial for maintaining operational productivity and requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You'll be working with a variety of equipment and materials, contributing directly to the success of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stage materials for production or shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety standards are met.
- Follow all guidelines for PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, and vests.
- Operate machinery safely and responsibly, adhering to all operational procedures.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed.
- Contribute to efficient logistics by managing material flow.
- Requires consistent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting and carrying.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to comply with all PPE requirements.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations.
