As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to transport materials, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory management. Your proficiency in forklift operation is crucial to our logistics and supply chain efficiency. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role demands excellent spatial awareness, precise control, and a commitment to preventing accidents. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure materials are staged correctly and efficiently. - Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and unstack pallets and materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any safety hazards immediately.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Follow traffic patterns and ensure safe movement within the warehouse.
