Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated machinery.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and resolve them efficiently to minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and meets regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Assist in the movement of materials as needed, which may involve significant lifting .
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or technical maintenance role is preferred.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and warehouse equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring regular lifting and be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
