Join our bustling distribution center in Seattle, Washington, as a Distribution Center Associate! We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to contribute to the efficient operations of our logistics hub. This role involves a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that products move smoothly through our facility to reach our customers. A strong commitment to Safety and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this dynamic role.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect goods for damage and discrepancies, reporting any issues.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to specific instructions.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Identify and report any potential hazards or safety concerns.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to adhering to Safety regulations.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
