Our dynamic logistics team is seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse operations in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the moment shipments arrive. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying contents against purchase orders and shipping manifests, and accurately documenting all received items. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a tidy and safe receiving area. Your primary goal will be to facilitate a smooth flow of inventory into the warehouse, minimizing discrepancies and delays. This role is integral to our supply chain and plays a vital part in overall warehouse productivity. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. The ability to handle moderate lifting is also essential for this role as you will be moving boxes and pallets. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks.
- Verify quantities and quality of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect shipments for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving dock area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of safety regulations and practices within a logistics environment.
