We are seeking a reliable Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Richmond, Virginia. This versatile role is key to the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your flexibility and willingness to contribute to different areas of the warehouse will be highly valued. We are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals within the logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good work ethic and reliability.
