Responsibilities:
- Accurately document and process all outgoing shipments.
- Verify shipping information against order details to prevent errors.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and ensure items are securely packed.
- Operate shipping equipment such as scanners and label printers.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain an organized shipping area and manage inventory of shipping supplies.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including receiving and stocking inventory.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies immediately to supervisors.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment through proactive safety measures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
