Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and highly organized? Our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse stock. This role is vital for the efficiency of our logistics operations, ensuring that our inventory data is precise and that stock is readily available. You will play a key part in optimizing stock levels, reducing discrepancies, and ensuring overall warehouse productivity. A strong understanding of Safety protocols is essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and report on slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures to minimize errors and loss.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to facilitate easy access and prevent damage.
  • Work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies, including the proper use of PPE and handling of materials.
  • Assist in training other staff members on inventory control best practices.
  • Support overall Logistics efficiency through accurate inventory management.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse/logistics role.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including Lifting of moderate weight occasionally.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree a plus.
  • Familiarity with Logistics and supply chain principles.
