Discover an exciting opportunity as a Picker/Packer with our leading logistics firm in San Francisco, California! We are seeking diligent and organized individuals to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the moment an item is picked to its final packaging. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing scanning technology to locate and process orders. This position demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding our high standards of operational excellence and safety. Your role is central to our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Select and gather ordered items from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Package products securely and appropriately for various shipping methods.
- Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory movements.
- Ensure all items are correctly identified and matched with corresponding orders.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to optimize efficiency.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet or exceed daily fulfillment goals.
- Practice safe lifting and material handling techniques throughout your shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is beneficial.
- Capable of regular lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and wear required PPE.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively.
