You will be responsible for managing the flow of materials within the facility, including receiving, storing, and preparing items for shipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Your tasks will involve operating various types of equipment, performing manual handling, and ensuring inventory accuracy. We emphasize Safety above all else and provide comprehensive training on proper procedures and the use of all required PPE. This role requires individuals who are physically capable of regular Lifting and moving of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receiving and unloading shipments from vendors and carriers.
- Storing materials in designated locations.
- Picking and preparing materials for outgoing shipments.
- Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Conducting regular inventory checks and maintaining accuracy.
- Ensuring the workspace is clean, organized, and safe.
- Adherence to all company Safety protocols and guidelines.
- Consistent use of provided PPE.
- Performing duties involving significant Lifting and movement of products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of Safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
