Our Des Moines, Iowa location is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring that all shipments are received accurately, inspected, and processed efficiently. Your primary responsibility is to maintain the integrity of our inventory from the moment it arrives. This involves verifying quantities against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and properly documenting all received items. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. You will play a vital part in our warehouse operations, contributing to the smooth flow of goods. Adherence to all Safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential for this position. This role requires the ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect items for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately record received inventory in the system.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Follow all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform tasks involving safe Lifting and material handling.
