Maintaining a high standard of Safety is paramount, requiring strict adherence to all guidelines and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical exertion, including frequent and heavy Lifting, so candidates must be physically capable. A strong understanding of warehouse Safety and Logistics principles is highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment safely.
- Transport materials throughout the facility as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company Safety rules and procedures.
- Wear all appropriate PPE during work shifts.
- Contribute to efficient Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a Material Handler or similar role preferred.
- Ability to perform significant Lifting and carrying of heavy items.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with basic Logistics operations.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
