We are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that all inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and on time. The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage inventory levels, coordinate with transportation providers, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for warehouse management. You will be responsible for scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to meet operational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a proven ability to problem-solve.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain the facility in a clean and orderly condition.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Manage the timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Understand and contribute to the overall logistics strategy of the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Knowledge of inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE is paramount.
- Experience with logistics and supply chain operations is a plus.
