As a Material Handler, you will be essential to our **logistics** operations, ensuring that products are moved safely and accurately. Your tasks will include loading and unloading delivery vehicles, transporting materials to and from storage, and preparing items for shipment. Proficiency with material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is highly desirable. A strong commitment to **safety** is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere strictly to all company **safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements. We are looking for candidates who are physically capable, detail-oriented, and work well in a team environment. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic **logistics** setting. Responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Organizing and storing materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Transporting materials to and from various points within the facility.
- Preparing products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Performing routine checks and maintenance on equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all **safety** regulations and procedures.
- Ensuring the correct use of all **PPE**.
- Assisting with inventory counts as needed.
