Our dynamic logistics company is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our growing team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating reach trucks efficiently and safely within a warehouse environment. You will be responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods through our facility and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will be expected to adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and checks.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Assist other warehouse personnel as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a reach truck is required.
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
