We are looking for an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our state-of-the-art warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role requires a skilled operator who can efficiently and safely maneuver a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve inventory at high elevations. You will be a crucial part of our logistics team, ensuring the organized and accessible storage of goods. Safety is our top priority, and all operators must demonstrate a thorough understanding of safe operating procedures and consistently use appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to transport, move, stack, and retrieve inventory in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any maintenance needs.
- Accurately place and retrieve products from racking systems.
- Assist with receiving, put-away, and order picking processes as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear access to aisles and racks.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies related to warehouse operations and equipment use.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory counts and other logistics support tasks.
- Work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Contribute to maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy in the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
- Valid reach truck certification or equivalent training.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Familiarity with high-reach racking systems and warehouse logistics.
- Ability to work at heights safely.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
