We are seeking a reliable and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. Your primary duties will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Pack orders securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Identify and report any hazards or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Assist with shipping documentation and label preparation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
