Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Denver, Colorado! This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for overseeing all inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy investigations. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will help us optimize stock levels, reduce shrinkage, and ensure efficient warehouse operations. We are seeking a proactive individual who understands the importance of precision in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status, including aging and slow-moving items.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to improve inventory management processes.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE at all times.
- May involve moderate Lifting of items up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
