We are hiring enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our state-of-the-art logistics facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient selection of items for customer orders and their subsequent packing for shipment. This position demands a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will utilize scanning technology and follow established procedures to ensure that every order is picked correctly and packaged to prevent damage during transit. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists and scanner data.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during shipping.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details before packing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking and packing areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the correct use of required PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
