In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory based on customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail is paramount to ensure that customers receive the correct products, securely and efficiently. You will be navigating the warehouse, utilizing scanning equipment, and working collaboratively with your team to meet daily order fulfillment targets. This position requires physical stamina for repeated movements and Lifting, as well as a strong commitment to workplace Safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Use handheld scanners and other technology to track inventory movement.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and proper handling procedures.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic inventory procedures.
- Understanding of Safety practices in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must wear all required PPE.
- Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
