We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect and verify inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and maintain an organized warehouse layout.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures is essential.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to attendance.
