As a DC Associate, you will handle products, operate material handling equipment, and contribute to maintaining an organized and safe work environment. Your responsibilities will include picking orders, packing items securely, stocking shelves, and conducting inventory checks. This position requires physical stamina, as it involves considerable lifting, standing, and moving throughout the day. We emphasize a strong safety culture, and all associates are expected to follow established safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately for shipment.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification provided if needed).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and work areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational issues.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
