Join our team as a Material Handler in Baltimore, Maryland! This role is vital to the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations and the broader Logistics network. You will be responsible for the physical movement of goods, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to Safety are essential for success in this position. You'll be working with various materials, which may involve significant Lifting . Proper use of PPE is mandatory to ensure your safety in all tasks. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a productive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock materials and products into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on customer orders.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to general warehouse cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, prioritizing Safety in all actions.
- Utilize all required PPE , such as gloves, safety glasses, and appropriate footwear.
- Support the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations through diligent work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
