We are hiring a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our fast-paced distribution center in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing them for outgoing Logistics . This position requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. You will be working with a variety of products, often involving significant Lifting and careful handling. Adherence to all Safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations according to order slips.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages with correct shipping information.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and warehouse environment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety .
- Wear and properly use all required PPE .
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations by meeting or exceeding productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, e-commerce fulfillment, or similar role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand order instructions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Commitment to following all Safety procedures.
