Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Stack and store inventory in designated locations, maintaining organization and stability.
- Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on forklift equipment, reporting any issues.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting and stock placement.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Solid understanding of forklift operation, safety protocols, and warehouse logistics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring physical exertion.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and wearing required PPE at all times.
- Good communication skills.
