Our dynamic logistics hub in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations. This pivotal role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and leadership skills to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating staff, improving workflow processes, and ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations. A deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles is crucial. We are committed to maintaining a secure and safe working environment, and all personnel must use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established Safety procedures diligently. This role involves managing tasks that may include moderate to heavy Lifting. Responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, scheduling shifts, monitoring inventory levels, resolving operational issues, conducting safety inspections, and reporting on key performance indicators. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain operations.
