We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, pick, stack, and stage materials within our warehouse. This role is crucial to maintaining smooth operations and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, contributing to the efficient movement of goods. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety protocols are paramount. The ability to work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel and follow instructions accurately is essential. This position involves significant physical activity and requires adherence to all company safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Experience with various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models, is highly desirable. A valid forklift certification is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Pick and stage orders accurately.
- Stack and organize inventory efficiently.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Ensure proper Lifting techniques are utilized.
- Support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to using appropriate PPE.
