Job Summary:
Our dynamic logistics company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our team in Denver, Colorado. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with inventory control procedures. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse processes and a keen eye for detail. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment. Proper PPE will be provided and its use is mandatory. This position involves moderate lifting and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately record inventory movements, receipts, and shipments.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized and tidy inventory storage areas.
  • Assist with the implementation of inventory management systems.
  • Generate inventory reports as required.
  • Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and quality control.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as needed.
  • Participate in training sessions on new inventory management techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE .
  • Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with logistics and warehouse safety procedures.
