We are looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving all incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and ensuring proper inventory management. Your attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. We are committed to a safe working environment, and all personnel must wear appropriate PPE and adhere to safety regulations. This role involves some lifting of materials up to 30 lbs and requires standing for extended periods. You will be a key player in our warehouse operations, ensuring that all goods are accounted for and prepared for distribution. We value a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Training on our receiving procedures and inventory systems will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect incoming items for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received inventory into the WMS.
- Tag and label inventory for proper storage.
- Communicate any receiving issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and reconciliation.
- Support overall logistics operations as needed.
