Seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our vibrant team in Indianapolis, Indiana! In this critical role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting items and preparing them for shipment. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of products and ensuring they are correctly picked, packed, and ready for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory based on order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory movement and confirm orders.
- Verify order contents against invoices for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Team player with positive attitude.
