You will be responsible for accurately documenting shipments, preparing them for transit, and coordinating with carriers. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping documents.
- Create shipping labels and documentation for various carriers.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate shipping records in the system.
- Ensure the shipping area is organized and well-maintained.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners regarding shipments.
- Assist with inventory management and other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
