You will play a key role in optimizing stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring that our products are accounted for at all times. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report on stock movements and trends.
- Identify and address potential issues related to inventory shrinkage or damage.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock rotation and storage.
- Analyze inventory data to identify areas for improvement in logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control strategies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
