We are looking for a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in the heart of New York City, New York. You will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory control procedures, analyzing stock levels, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control systems and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and optimize stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve complex inventory discrepancies.
- Oversee the receiving, put-away, and storage processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage and waste.
- Train and guide warehouse staff on inventory control best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE in inventory management.
- Collaborate with other departments to support seamless logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar specialist role.
- Advanced proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to rigorous Safety standards and PPE protocols.
