We are looking for skilled Forklift Operators to join our busy warehouse operations in Seattle, Washington. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials and products within our facility. This critical role supports our logistics and inventory management functions, ensuring the smooth flow of goods. You will operate various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage areas, and assist with order picking and staging. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols, and a keen eye for detail. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of goods.
- Transport inventory to and from storage locations, racks, and production areas.
- Assist with order picking, staging, and shipping preparation.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including proper PPE usage.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 70 lbs.
- Strong understanding of forklift Safety procedures and regulations.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
