As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art facility, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to specific customer requirements.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE as required by company safety standards.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
