We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the movement, tracking, and organization of materials within our warehouse facility. Your primary duties will include receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and safely transporting materials to designated storage areas using various equipment. You will also be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging for transit. This position requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and adherence to all company policies regarding material handling and workplace conduct. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, good physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. We provide all necessary PPE and comprehensive training to ensure your success and well-being on the job. This role involves significant lifting , often up to 50 pounds, and requires standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
