Job Summary:
Our Atlanta, Georgia location is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Key duties include conducting frequent cycle counts, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies, and managing inventory records with precision. You will play a vital part in optimizing our logistics operations by guaranteeing accurate stock availability for production and distribution. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of warehouse procedures. Maintaining a safe work environment is a top priority; therefore, adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE and safe Lifting practices, is mandatory. This role is essential for minimizing stock-outs and maximizing efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct systematic cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data for accuracy and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of all inventory items.
  • Assist in managing stock levels for optimal logistics flow.
  • Uphold all company Safety standards and procedures.
  • Ensure correct use of PPE during all warehouse activities, including tasks involving potential Lifting.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory control, preferably in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse logistics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety.
  • Proficient in relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be prepared to wear appropriate PPE.
