As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking materials using a forklift. You'll be a key player in maintaining our operational flow and supporting our warehouse staff.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Safely transport goods to designated areas, ensuring timely delivery.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including strict adherence to PPE requirements.
- Follow safe lifting practices and assist with manual handling when necessary.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory management and cycle counts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Forklift Operator with verifiable experience.
- Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
