Seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is critical for efficient inventory management and material flow within our logistics operations. You will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve products at various heights, ensuring accuracy and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a secure and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to move and stack inventory.
- Retrieve products from high-level racking systems.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of reach trucks and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
- Organize warehouse stock to optimize space and accessibility.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in regular warehouse safety training.
- Support the logistics team with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
Requirements:
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment.
- Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Experience in logistics operations is highly desirable.
