We are seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Tampa, Florida. This role is integral to our daily operations, involving a wide range of warehouse tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and workplace safety within our bustling logistics hub.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Stock and organize merchandise within the distribution center.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided/certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network.
- Perform duties involving significant Lifting and moving of products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting and moving of items up to 60 pounds.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading comprehension.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
- Awareness of and dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
