We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities related to inventory management and order fulfillment. You will handle the receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. A strong commitment to safety is non-negotiable; you will be expected to follow all guidelines meticulously and use the required PPE . This position involves consistent physical effort, including regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and operation of warehouse equipment. Your role is critical to our overall logistics performance. We are looking for dedicated, reliable individuals who can work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a productive workflow. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment using RF scanners and other tools.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing transport.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all safety regulations.
- Wear and properly use all assigned PPE , including gloves, vests, and safety glasses.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and support efficient logistics .
- Perform frequent lifting of boxes and items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred. Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and consistent lifting . A strong understanding of and commitment to warehouse safety procedures. Must be comfortable and compliant with wearing PPE . Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple tasks. Good teamwork and communication skills. Basic knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes is a plus. Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
