We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team in Columbus, Ohio. This vital role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, supporting seamless operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize errors. Your ability to maintain precise stock records and manage inventory flow will be critical to our success. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to upholding high standards of warehouse management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of inventory control principles and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). You will collaborate with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, to ensure efficient inventory handling. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential. We are looking for someone who can contribute to optimizing our inventory processes and enhancing overall operational efficiency. The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively is key. Ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, is paramount. A background in logistics or supply chain is advantageous. This role involves regular physical activity, including Lifting items as needed.
