We are looking for hardworking and dependable Warehouse Workers to join our logistics team in Sacramento, California. In this essential role, you will contribute to the daily operations of our warehouse, handling a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping preparation. Your efforts ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods, directly impacting our ability to serve our customers effectively. This is a hands-on position that offers opportunities to learn various aspects of warehouse management.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, strictly following all Safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Package products appropriately for shipment, ensuring quality and protection.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals and maintain operational flow.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to Safety protocols.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
- Attention to detail is important for order accuracy.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
